About Us

The Genesee Community Charter School Family Association has partnered with Special Touch Bakery to raise money to send the 4th and 5th grade classes of both campuses on an overnight field study.

As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday next year, our students will travel to the city where it all began, Boston, Massachusetts. Genesee students will study the roots of the American Revolution from multiple perspectives and visit the locations where history happened. They will use what they learned in Boston to help create final products that tell the story of the Revolution and its legacy today.

Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s see if we can answer your questions

When are orders due?

All orders are due by Monday, October 27th. If we receive them after that, we won’t be able to get them to the bakery in time to meet our delivery date.

How are my pies delivered?

Student families will deliver pies to purchasers after they are delivered on Friday, November 14th. That is why it is so important to identify the student who sold it to you when checking out.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At checkout we provide links to PayPal, CashApp and Venmo for payment.

I would like to participate, but I don’t live in Rochester, can I donate my pies?

Yes! Our order form provides an option to send your pies to Rochester Deaf Kitchen, a local food pantry dedicated to helping food-insecure members of the Deaf community in Rochester.

Can I just donate money to the fundraiser without purchasing a pie?

Of course, we would be happy to accept your donation! Please visit our Donation page and send money through any of the supported apps (Venmo, PayPal, CashApp) and be sure to write “Fundraiser Cash Donation” in the memo field!
